Dr. Mathivanan Dakshinamoorthi presently practises as an advocate in the Madras High Court. His specializations are Intellectual Property Laws and Manufacturing Engineering. He obtained Ph.D. (Engg) from College of Engineering Guindy – AnnaUniversity, Chennai, India.
He did his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. – Mechanical) from Govt. College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore, India and Master of Engineering (M.E.- Manufacturing) from Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), Chennai, India. He also obtained Bachelor of Law degree from S.V.University.
He has successfully completed various Post Graduate Diplomas and Advanced certificate courses in the field of Law.
Dr. Mathivanan made significant contributions as Plastics Product and Mould designer while he was working with various industries. He has numerous national and international technical journal publications to his credit. He serves as an External faculty with AnnaUniversity offering Grad. level courses on Design for manufacturing, Reverse Engineering, Non-Metallic Product Design etc.
Dr.Mathivnan is one of the Registered Patent Agent.
Dr. Mathivanan is a Scientific Adviser in the field of Mechanical Engineering with the Patent Office.
